is chair of the music department at Laney College (Oakland, CA) and on the faculty of the John Adams Young Composers Program and the Crowden Music School (Berkeley, CA). He has presented talks about exploring Music History at the Berkeley Public Library and on KPFA Radio. As a former professional member of the San Francisco Symphony Chorus, he participated in Grammy winning recordings on Decca, RCA, and Paramount Pictures. Sacred music positions have included: music director of All Souls Episcopal Church (Berkeley), tenor soloist for St. Mary’s Cathedral (San Francisco) and Congregation Rodef Beth Shalom (San Rafael).
